MEDIA ADVISORY: OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION NUMBERS SHOW CONTINUED DROP IN OKLAHOMA

 

 (Oklahoma City) The latest Oklahoma Corporation Commission report on oil and natural gas production in Oklahoma has been released. It puts total oil production in Oklahoma for January, 2002 at 5,194,833 barrels. This is 474644 barrels below the December, 20001 crude production of 5,669,477 barrels.

 

Natural gas production also showed a decline. Total natural gas production for January 2002 was 116,462,361 MCF. That is a drop of 6,016253 MCF from the December 2001 production of 122,478,614 MCF.
