Media Advisory regarding the
current power failure
(Oklahoma
City) Corporation Commission Chairman Denise Bode’s office has been in contact
with Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E) officials and AEP-PSO** officials
regarding whether the current situation in N.Y. and other areas might impact
their operations in Oklahoma. At this point, both companies report their
systems are stable, and they currently do not expect any problems. OG&E and AEP-PSO are the two largest
providers of electric power in Oklahoma.
