Oil & Gas Complaints & Information Department

The Oil & Gas Complaints & Information Department presented workshops for out-of-state Oklahoma mineral owners in San Diego, CA in 2008 and Washington, D.C. in 2009. Due to overwhelming demand and the success of these meetings, the department is planning a similar workshop in September or October 2010 at an as yet undetermined location in the Western U.S.

Anticipated discussion topics will include:: 1. A demonstration of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission's online database.; 2. Basic minerals management.; 3. Leasing and forced pooling.; 4. What you need to know about Division Orders.; 5. Title Issues; 6. Mineral Estate Planning
