Commission-Hosted Meetings on Proposed Mandates and Legislation that Could Impact Oklahoma Utility Bills
In response to the start of federal actions that could drastically increase utility bills, the Oklahoma
Corporation Commission (OCC) is providing forums for other State agencies, electric utilities, consumer groups
and all stakeholders to meet on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Federal Implementation Plan dealing
with regional haze, Transmission Upgrades, Pending State Legislation, and other upcoming mandates.
Chapter 35 Electric Rulemaking

The rulemaking was filed on January 27 2012, and was approved by the Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners for
consideration and comment of all stakeholders.
Rulemaking Important Dates:
- March 1, 2012: Comments are due to be filed by all interested parties
with the OCC Court Clerk's Office. Comments will be posted to this
website as available.
- March 12, 2012: Technical Conference in Room 301 of the OCC.
Transmission related issues will begin at 1:30pm with Competitive
Procurement beginning at 2:30pm.
- March 26, 2012: En banc hearing will be held before the Commission
at 9:30am.
